Building sculptures by Kryštof Kintera

In the park at Klarov, the artist Kristof Kintera created a micro-city of concrete miniatures. The work is based on seven brutalist buildings in Prague, whose future is at risk:

  • The grand hotel Praha.
    • Created in 1981 and demolished in 2014.
  • The Emauzy monastery
    • Bombarded in 1945.
  • The bank Komerční banka in Smíchov
    • Created by Karel Prager
  • The Žižkov Television Tower
    • The miniature was partially damaged by the artist himself. It means that the future of such architecture is uncertain.
  • Kotva, a shopping mall,
  • The central telecommunication building,
    • Planned to be taken down.
  • Housing estate,
    • It was planned by Karel Prager but never built.

In the park, there is also a sculpture of a girl with a dove from 1958 by Václav Simek.

Address: Park Holubička near metro Malostranská
